Nice alternative for my opinion
I would recommend before cutting the strips to walk around with the length you think you want first. The tension felt comfortable for the short time I tried them, but I can’t wear the shoes for long periods of time as they are too tight at the length I chose. I would probably but again and tuck the laces for a bit to make sure the tension feels right for longer periods.
