Researched and finally found one that I thought would work because I needed an extra one. My garage opener is outdated but this one was perfect. Press the learn button on the back of the motor and it flashed and pressed the button on the remote control. It worked the first time! The only problem I have is that I have to stick it out the window to open or close the door, but I think it's a battery problem because my old remote had the same problems when the battery started , to sit down, so maybe I have a new battery ready for replacement
