These brushes were used to clean the shower including tiles, sanitary ware and grout. Despite only using a large (flat/round) brush, it held up very well. The bristles were soft enough to prevent premature wear on all surfaces, but stiff enough to deal with some dirt that defies other traditional cleaning methods. Using the highest setting of a portable commercial drill, which is more aggressive than needed and probably more than most would use with these brushes, only 2 bristles came out, which I would consider fairly excellent. The only criticism I would like to make is that the brushes are advertised as being effective for grouting. Although they can clean the grout to some degree, the brushes are generally too wide to effectively contact the grout when recessed below the general surface of the tile without subjecting the brushes to abnormal wear. However, for the price I think these brushes are good for medium cleaning, have excellent build quality and are reliable. I think they're probably more aggressive for the typical cleaning task that most people will need, but they're great for hiding should the need arise. In this case, they will be useful for any user.
