These are one of the nicest gloves let alone climbing gloves I have ever owned. I'm on my 3rd pair now. The first pair lasted almost 3 full years and mind you I used them for climbing and hiking but then I liked them so much I started using them for weightlifting, gardening and winter gloves in general. They were insanely durable, it seems I got them wet/sweaty a lot and they've dried out and shrunk/cracked a bit, but they still lasted for years before they really started cracking. Also, they were mostly torn at the fingertips, which was probably due to the fact that my nails are slow to cut them off and they were tight. I hope they don't stop making them! They are very well made, well sewn, the quality of the materials cannot be commended. Please note that they are a bit small in my opinion. I have pretty graceful hands for a man, my fingers are not fat at all, but the small ones were cramped, the middle ones fit me perfectly. So, if you have big man hands, you decide. grow up and try these first. I originally bought them from REI for $50! much cheaper on amazon and better size/color choice. They also have tans.
