Review on 🚽 Squatty Potty - Bamboo Flip Toilet Stool, 7" & 9" Height, Brown by Charles Lardieri

Fit and finish are good; Assembly is easy; Height varies

I found the Bamboo FLIP Squatty potty I received in mid-October 2019 to be a good fit and finish and easy to assemble. The four main pieces were fairly smooth, with a bit more roughness around the edges of the two large sides where they joined after assembly. Haven't seen any problems with splinters. The screws provided were sufficient to screw the sides together; However, they were not full-fledged fasteners. The supplied Allen key was also sufficient, but not of high quality. None of the fasteners required excessive torque; The two on the right of the taller side of the platform required more torque than any of the others, but it could still be worked around with the included hex key (using the longer side of the key to turn the head of the shorter side up into the). holder inserted). All mounting holes are matched. I followed standard practice of only lightly torquing the fasteners until they were in place and then doing the final tightening to complete the installation of the fasteners into their final positions. Once assembled, the Squatty Potty Block is strong enough for its intended use. There is a sticker on one of the sides (i.e. "inside" of the assembled block) warning against using the block as a standing platform (stool) and it is clearly NOT suitable as a standing platform due to the lack of support on all sides and the slope of the sides. This is more than enough to support the feet and legs as indicated for changing body position while sitting on a standard American pipe toilet. The short side height varies from 6.5 inches to just over 7.75 inches. The height of the high side varies from 8 inches to just over 9 inches. The included instructions state that the correct position is when the platform surface slopes away from the plumbing fixture (the highest point closest to the plumbing fixture).
