This is my fourth Amcrest camera and whilst I was planning on switching to a competing brand I think over time this brand has become outdated and more reliable has become. I use one as a baby monitor, one for indoor security and now two Amcrest for outdoor security. Overall they have been very valuable over the last four years and this one continues that trend. Setup is easy, maybe 5 minutes per app and 10 minutes per camera setup. The image is sharp, the camera connects quickly if it's in the right Wi-Fi range (I have a Wi-Fi extender for my outdoor cameras and the connection issues I've had before, are gone), and the motion sensor alerts are very useful in knowing when someone is approaching my house, especially since I have a lot of packages. I've stressed that before and will do it again here - spend the extra $ on a GOOD microSD card. I kept buying cheap cards and they stopped working after a few months or had constant playback issues and I blamed the camera but when I bought all weather cards for the dollar they lasted over a year. and I can reproduce almost immediately. Based on my experience with Amcrest over the past few years, I will continue to expand my Amcrest range as my older cameras age.
