Excellent bell. I reviewed many on YouTube in order to hear them before stumbling on this one on Revain. I was not particularly impressed with the sound of any that I listened to on YouTube. The bell that came with my bike is simply not loud enough for some people to hear.At the time of this purchase there was only one audio sampling by another reviewer here. The sound was clear and loud but wondered if it was just where the mic had been placed but took a chance on buying it. It sounds just like that sample and has an impressive sustain in the ring tone after striking it.Solid aluminum mount and not some rubber/plastic strap. You can modulate how loud you ring it by how far back you draw the striker.If I had a complaint it would be the striker mechanism, not in it's function but in it's comfort level. Though the surface is smooth and somewhat rounded on the lever you pull back it could be better. You can get an edge-full sometimes on the lever or multiple full throated strikes can be rough on the thumb because there is a significant spring load. But that's also why it can ring so loud so it's a mixed blessing.
