If you're buying this, you probably know what it is, but if you're unsure, this material is used to add extra strength and holding power to bolts and nuts to keep them in place for a long time. There are different versions, mostly red and blue. Red forms a more lasting bond. This list applies to blue Loctite and to scenarios where you occasionally loosen or remove the bolt or nut being fastened. This stuff really works. I mainly use it to make sure my scopes, mounts, scope mounts, etc. are secure and not loosening from vibration and recoil when shooting. It does a great job.
