I installed this paper under my cabinets. I placed it over painted walls (slightly sanded) for better adhesion. It is so very important to work small sections, and pull the back off as needed. There is a guide (contact paper) on the back to help you measure and to make clean line cuts. Quickly place the section back onto the backing if you pull off too much. It sticks very well, but needs to be applied on a clean surface. I found that it was also relatively easy to remove. That's a good thing so next year I can change my design if I choose. I would recommend buying more than you think you need, as some matching will be needed. I've found it easy to clean as well with a damp cloth. First order came quick, took a little longer on the second order, but it was worth it. I plan on adding this to a few other items. I'll post pics later. I've already had multiple compliments and I'm had people ask me where I purchased my shiplap.
