I bought this GPS speedometer to install on my old classic 1962 Chevy C-10 truck. I installed a newer rebuild transmission without speedometer gears and really wanted a working speedometer, especially with an odometer and trip meter to track oil changes and gas mileage. This little inexpensive GPS controlled speedometer is perfect! Installation was easy and painless, there are many backlight color options, and best of all, a working odometer with dual trip meters! The odometer shows the mileage even when the battery is disconnected, as does one of the two trip meters. If you look at my photos you can see a simple little receiver that I just double sided taped to the corner of the dash, it's small enough not to be seen and the reception is great.
