I have been purchasing Filtrete MPR 1500 Ultra Allergen Filters for many years. I will most likely never switch to another type of Filtrete, let alone another brand. Anyway, I can go up a level or two if I ever anticipate lengthy construction projects in my house. However, I can say without a doubt that I feel like the air in my 3,200 square foot home is noticeably cleaner. I even made a mistake and didn't change the filters more than four months ago. Keep in mind that this is NOT a good idea. However, the filters continued to work properly and I did not notice any degradation in my HVAC performance and there were no issues during regular maintenance of my home system. Again, I highly recommend replacing them every three months or less. I would say that with normal use you should check the filters at least once a month. These filters are not restrictive. I haven't noticed any heating and cooling issues in all the time I've used them, even if I accidentally exceeded their lifespan. I will buy them as long as they produce them and the quality is maintained. ! Unlike some other reviewers, I've never had any quality issues. I would also like to point out that I don't care if there are tiny imperfections in the cardboard around the filters. It's hidden and has never affected air quality or my system. buy you! You will not regret it.
