I used it for a 209 lbs generator. This unit is rated to hold up to 300lbs. Yet, first trip out . . . and it was so bouncy that all of the slats broke out of the bottom. Hit two cars on the freeway at 60 mph. Almost lost the generator. Bent the extended bar. The length of the extension bar is too long and it bounces going to down the road. The entire thing ended up in the dumpster at our first campground. Do not recommend.
