I tried this out before emergency tire change. You will need the extension cord to reach rear wheels of large pickup. Also, when you loosen and tighten the lug nuts, the wrench will make a clicking noise which they do not tell you in the instructions. This may cause you to think that it is not working, but it is. I tried it out with a friend who is much more mechanical. When loosening tires, let up a little when it clicks, restart, and nuts will loosen. When tightening, there is no torque indicator. So, on a Chevy Silverado 4wd we figured out that about 5 clicks tightens the lug nuts to close to proper torque lbs. Hope this is helpful. It appears to be a good product but ther are things not covered in the instructions.
