Review on 🔌 Spectre Performance 8741 Duct in Black by Rick Vidaurri

I bought this inlet hose to fit a snorkel to a land vehicle. I plan to cross a lot of deep fords on my next trip so it's very important that the connections are waterproof. The boots at the ends of the pics didn't seem very good, but according to the reviews, they seemed tight and sealed with silicone. This was not the case, they are very loose fitting and I'm sure that once sealed with silicone or even tape the vibrations of the frying process will certainly cause them to leak or worse all fall off together. This might work well for a cold air intake system where you don't mind air getting in through the joints and water ingress can be avoided, but in general it doesn't work for my application. The quality of the hose itself is poor. It's durable in the sense that it won't break down, but I wouldn't expect it to last long.
