Originally 2 stars for this, now 4th on the stairs to take off. It seemed to work, but after a few days the battery actually died compared to charging this camera. Yes, the solar panel was installed facing south, and also this camera has the fewest records/trips due to the lack of traffic, but it gets drained all day. So I removed it and just went through the fall and winter months without it. Then, around this time, Eufy added solar panel support to their cameras, so I decided to try this product again, now that my hardware has built-in support. I left the panel/cables fitted all winter, so as soon as it was nice enough to be back on the stairs I reconnected them to my EufyCam 2 Pro (after fully charging it to 100% inside! ). It's been about a week and a half and this camera still holds a 100% charge even through several days of cloudy/rainy weather. We hope this continues to work.
