EufyCam now holds a charge and won't run out as Eufy added solar support

Originally 2 stars for this, now 4th on the stairs to take off. It seemed to work, but after a few days the battery actually died compared to charging this camera. Yes, the solar panel was installed facing south, and also this camera has the fewest records/trips due to the lack of traffic, but it gets drained all day. So I removed it and just went through the fall and winter months without it. Then, around this time, Eufy added solar panel support to their cameras, so I decided to try thisโ€ฆ

Great for electronics projects

Update 02/20/2021 This panel is great. In addition to my weather stations, this panel powers and charges a number of cellular webcams. The panel is connected to this mount: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ZANNFWW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I am writing this review mainly because of all the negatives I have seen. Setup was ez

Plus installation was ez. I didn't use screws because they were too short. I went into the siding with 1 and 1/2 lag screws. Added clear outer sealing for screws and sockets. - Price was fair - Feels good. Cons - Installation guide was ok but could be better - Needs longer set screws. I will report after further tests - after installation. Leave the panel in direct sunlight for a full day before first use. I noticed that the Outdoor WYZE Cam only holds a power charge but does not charge theโ€ฆ
