Customer note: The product shown is NOT a Dremel 420 Heavy Duty cutting wheel. The picture shows a heavy duty Dremel cutting wheel. Genuine Dremel 420 high performance cutting discs are similar in appearance to the Dremel 409 cutting discs listed on Revain. I used a Dremel 420 Heavy Duty cutting wheel to precisely cut 1/4" thick aluminum square tubing. Every 1 inch or so of the circle is reduced to about half the original size. While this may be frustrating for some, I prefer the drive to get smaller as I work.As the circle gets smaller I can use the cutter to cut progressively smaller corners as needed.For larger projects where you need to cut more than 2-3" aluminum or hardened metals or need longer cutting wheel life I would recommend using a Dremel type 426 or 456 cutting wheel.
