Many of us, myself included, feel that resolution below 4K just isn't good enough. But this pure 2K monitor is fine for me. I mainly use it for video production. I prefer to record videos in HD at 60 FPS, so this monitor is perfect for me. Colors are crisp, clear and well defined. I have the monitor set to 144Hz and this is supported by HDMI. Luckily when I use the display cable I can see objects on the desktop but they don't open. With the HDMI cable in the first slot, there is no such problem - there are three of them. Once 2.0 and twice 1.4. I know I should investigate the display cable issue, but I don't really feel the need as I can get 144Hz without a display cable. This does not apply to all of these devices. The stand is solid and I love that I can raise and lower the screen or rotate it to portrait mode. My desk is small and I was concerned that this 27" replacement for my 24" monitor might feel too big or out of place. Not the case at all. I am very happy with this monitor. Unless you have VERY strict requirements, I think you will too.
