New way of using on mattress pads
I have read all the reviews but wanted to post this. Yes, if you put the vinyl side down it loses its ability to remain waterproof the more times you wash it. So I turned it over and put the vinyl side up. If my children have an accident, I don't have to undress and wash them. I can wipe it down with a disinfectant wipe or spray and the vinyl will remain intact and there will be no loss of strength or protection. I highly recommend using this product vinyl side up to prevent constant washing and tearing of the waterproof backing. I replaced my original and it now sits on all three beds in my house.
