Broke right out of the box. Anger me in a big way. After all the care, time and effort that went into setting it up, I turned on the pump and it made a noise like it was trying to work, but nothing was being pulled through the hose, even after manually filling, nothing . I used clean, clear water, a 5/8" clear hose with a strainer on the end, and the built-in strainer that came with the pump. I checked the flow direction arrow four times. None of the water pipes were clogged. I should have listened to the other bad reviews and spent a few bucks more for a reputable product. Now I have to spend more time and effort packing up this junk and sending it back to Revain before I can get a refund. I wanted to take it apart and try to figure out what was wrong, but not this time. Lesson learned. I was hoping to use 110VAC directly, but looks like I'll have to upgrade to a 12V pump configuration with a 110-12VDC transformer. Which I wanted to avoid because this is an outdoor setup and more parts equals more that can break or go wrong. Thanks Amarin for making a huge mess out of such a simple thing! It should be a shame to promote such a bad product.
