Just what I needed, sort of.

Firstly yes this is what I needed to fix a leaking gray fuel tank valve. Fits on the old pipe as it should, but I think maybe it will if you try to unscrew the end cap and you might as well pull the whole thing off. Since we buy these things to fix leaking original valves, this can be a disaster. It would make more sense to place the hooks that connect to the original tube so that when the cap is loosened the twisting action actually tightens the case.
