Product looks beautiful, but there are two big problems with the manufacturing of this product.The orange valve box does not come with clear instructions on installation. My suggestion would be to install the valve slightly less deep than the instructions imply. On other models by Teekia, the knobs protrude further out from the orange box. On this model, the bottom knob especially is barely flush with the orange box. This makes it impossible to adhere the faceplate because it mounts only to these two knobs. Unlike other shower valves, there is no screw securing the faceplate.The second big problem is with the manufacturing of the smaller knob on top. It is IMPOSSIBLE to screw a pointed pin down into the metal knob to fasten the top dial. The manufacturer should supply a FLAT screw, not a pointed one. If you grind the screw down to be flat, it will work. Otherwise, you will not be able to get the screw to even bite the thread.Customer service was not able to resolve the issue. Language barriers and unfamiliarity with the product.I would absolutely not recommend this product. If there is a problem with installation, you will pay WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more in the long run by tearing it out and installing something else. I'm also not confident that teekia is going to be around or a very helpful resource when it comes to replacing the cartridge of that is needed down the road. I would just suggest paying more (a lot more, I know), and getting a similar product from a brand like Moen, Delta, or Kohler.Shower valves do not last forever and the prudent thing is to pay more up front but know that you won't have to tear up the whole wall when it comes time to replace the valve. I live in fear of that day.
