Review on ๐Ÿ”ช Highly Efficient Japanese Weeding Sickle with Razor-Sharp Edge for Swift Results by Joshua Coulter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best Hand Weeder

This Japanese weeder is very sharp and durable. This foot-long tool works in pull mode like most Japanese hand cutting tools. Before using it, I had to sand the rough wooden handle to an acceptable smoothness with 220 grit sandpaper. But the 4.5 inch blade was perfectly straight and razor sharp. It handled stubborn weeds in concrete cracks very well. The left hand piece cuts into uneven concrete cracks to trim weeds even when used with the left hand. clean shave. On hard ground, I can dig and cut deeply rooted large dandelion weed 1" in diameter with a few strokes. As a hand tool, I have to kneel to swing the sickle next to me. I can alternate left and right hands. The right tip of the blade closer to the handle provides additional leverage for digging out stubborn thick roots. The sickle stays sharp and I keep it in a plastic case. One of my best garden tools.
