I bought this for myself as a beginner embroiderer, and I love it! It keeps my thread nice and organized and provides me with a lot of options for colors. The only downside is that I ran out of one color mid-project and you can't order the exact color from this company. The good news is that the code number is the same for the thread sold at Michael's, BUT its not the exact same color. It was noticeable to me. Just word to the wise if you're making something: prepare ahead of time!
