Does what it's supposed to do, but inefficient and too noisy
This thing gets an aluminum mug really cold. It doesn't actually freeze anything, but is very cold as long as it's liquid in the aluminum cup. The insert of the glass is not tight enough for the real glass to stay cool. Better buy an insulator from a Yeti Rambler type can. Otherwise, you'll be using the cooler all the time or turning it on and off all the time. It is much more practical to simply pour the liquid into an aluminum cup and drink from it, but that distracts from the idea of cooling. what the pictures advertise. The fan itself is too loud to be practical. My colleagues have complained about the fan noise, so I will have to return the product.
