Only the motion sensor is activated?

This fitting only works with a motion sensor! Whether you pull the handle to turn the water on manually, you MUST use the sensor. Such a flawed design and VERY annoying to be honest. What happens when the batteries run out and your hands are buried in soap dishes? You have to stop everything you're doing, get on all fours to get under the sink and change batteries. Positive donkey! I was really looking forward to this faucet. It looked BEAUTIFUL and I've always wanted a hands-free faucet. Being an avid cook, the idea of chicken juice (or raw meat, for that matter) not flowing down my sink sounded AMAZING. This crane wasn't cheap, of course, but it wasn't the most expensive on the market either. When I opened the box and saw a page of poorly translated instructions, I should have known there was a problem. I literally had to hire a plumber to install it because the instructions were such crap. Now I've lost another $325. Many Thanks.
