I am torn on this device. It's convenient, easy to use, and *usually* does its job.Pros:- Extremely easy to set up- The voice recording is fun, mostly because guests don't expect to hear it :)- Very sturdy--I have a 16 pound cat that stood on top of it, and it didn't topple over--HUGE plus!- You can easily adjust the amount of food that comes out and at what time by creating additions to meal plans within the app.- It will tell you if there is a jam.Cons:- Sometimes, it doesn't follow the schedule and put food out, and there's no rhyme or reason why. I have it set to give out a certain amount of portions at certain times. My home office is near where it's set up, and the time for the monsters to be fed comes and goes, and nothing happens. There is no notification from the app. Fortunately, it only seems to happen once in while, not all the time. We went out of town, and since I have the model without a camera, I couldn't verify that they had been fed.- You cannot put large chunk or long food in here. It will jam. We were originally going to use this with our puppy, but her puppy chow was too big. (It's not even large chunks--it's puppy chow.) We decided to use it for our cats and tried with Kit N Caboodle cat food, and *those* were too big. Meow Mix works perfectly with it.This company also apparently makes a wide variety of Bluetooth items, like plugs, cameras, lights, etc. My husband has been looking for something like that for a long time, so I see more purchases from this manufacturer in my near future.
