Review on 🔹 Somat Dishwasher Salt Water Softener - Coarse-Grained Special Salt for Lime Protection and Soft Water - 1.2 KG (2.6 LB) - 2 Pack by Sergio Wingate

We have had a KA dishwasher for many years and after gradually removing the phosphates from the DW cleaner we started having serious problems with limescale deposits like on the SS DW Bath itself as well as on glasses, cutlery, plates - everything! We have very hard water and I had to add citric acid with every wash to keep it from pooling, but even that didn't completely solve the problem. After the KA tried to catch fire we replaced it with a Bosch DW with a built in softener and after Bosch confirmed this salt would be a good fit rather than the more expensive Finnish brand they list on their website I have here bought something. and loaded a new block. It really was a wonderful change. That salt in the built-in fabric softener along with a regular Finish Powerball tablet (not even the more expensive clear Quantum variant) and a Somat conditioner left everyone sparkling clean the first time, every time. For a while we thought we'd have to replace our glasses because they felt very rough and looked scratched, but after a few washes in Bosch they were completely clear and smooth again. And all of our stainless steel products are shiny and look like new. We've had two months with the first box now, so it looks like it's going to be a while. On our Bosch, the salt container took up the whole box and probably could have held more. I will definitely order this again!
