Perfect except: Point of Sale (POS) Gear

I bought this to use with our Square POS system on the iPad. On the point of sale screen we can scan the UPC code and add the item to the order which is great. A normal scanner cannot do this. BUT - it also doesn't scan into the text field. However, a typical scanner requires 2 scanners at the checkout. We have employees who make a purchase and deduct it from their next paycheck. At Square, we mark "Other" as the payment type, but then want to scan the ID number in the "Optional Note" field. The socket scanner does not scan this area, but a normal scanner does. The socket scanner can be programmed to do this, but will then not scan items for the POS screen.
