Real glass bottle, really well made. The neck of the bottle is very smooth and comfortable on the lips when drinking from it. But the cases are just plain poor quality. The metal band around the perimeter of the lid will break, leaving a sharp edge that could cut your hand. The glue holding the metal to the plastic cap won't hold and it's almost impossible to tighten the cap onto the bottle. I would like to find replacement covers. I would not have bought this set if I had known about the pathetic lids.
