This humidifier arrived on the promised date in good condition, no problems. This is a very attractive item and is easy to take apart, clean etc. I originally bought this for essential oil diffusers and the unit accommodates oils. However, being new to essential oils, I found that they don't diffuse as well as I thought they would. I expected the room to be filled with a faint smell of oil. But the oil diffuses into such tiny particles that they are practically odorless. They're in the air, but it's hard to tell for sure. The device works great but the lack of EO smell has nothing to do with how the device works. This is a very quiet humidifier and there is a night light in the white tank. It has an auto shut-off and a dial to adjust how much fog you want to produce. I've found that a full tank of water with a setting just below the half mark will last you all night. I plan to use this humidifier in strong winds and heat to reduce static in our house and especially in the bedroom at night so hopefully we don't wake up with dry sinuses and skin. We live in an area that gets strong Santana winds. In addition, the manufacturer SPT has a website where you can purchase spare parts if necessary.
