Review on Commercial Grade Brass Wall Mount Pot Filler Faucet With Double Joint Swing Arm, Lead-Free And Brushed Nickel Finish For Restaurant And Home Kitchen Use by Jordan Doyle

Questionable pipe nipple. Update

First off the faucet is as described. I purchased one with a chrome finish and it looks 100% the same as in the pictures on Best Buy. It feels very solid and sturdy. It is constructed of brass and should provide many years of service. My order was processed and delivered in a very timely manner - very happy with that. I went to set up the install (myself) and the pipe nipple they provide does not fit through the wall thickness in our home. I have a older home with plaster walls which are 3/4 of a inch thick, then add on the tile thickness behind the stove and you have a 1 and 1/8 inch thick wall it has to pass thru. Their Instructions show the long threaded end of their nipple going into the faucet and the short threaded end going thru the wall to the water supply and the short threaded end is about 3/4 of a inch long. It also appears that the long threaded end has to fit completely into the faucet or it will leak (based on other reviews). Not all walls are 3/8's inch or 1/4 inch wallboard. Not enough thread reaches the other side of the wall to even put a coupler or extension on the nipple. So thats my current conundrum. I have written the company and I am waiting for a reply from a day ago, but I received the nutty day after delivery letter from Best Buy to review the product LOL. Also in my letter to the vendor I asked if they possibly had a longer nipple or knew where I could purchased a closed/running pipe nipple that is 3-4 inches in length as the big box stores don't sell a nipple with 1.25 inches of thread on it. Also looking at the plumbing supply places online and they don't list anything like that, just the standard .75 inch threaded ends. Hoping WOWOW comes through and either has the part or know some place that does so I can purchase the needed part. I will update my review when the faucet is finally installed and have used it for a while. Three days after contacting WOWOW at their service email provided in the package I still not have heard back from them with any advice. Had to downgrade my experience by a star based on the lack of feedback from WOWOW.
