Trust me, when installing a lockable vinyl floor, you need to use a block and steel rod. Spacers are useless because they keep falling off. To get a tight joint with no visible seams, these tools will get the job done. Some of the boards I installed had to be hit pretty hard to close the gaps and using ground scrap just won't last.
