Works exactly as expected
If you have an ancient TV with only the svideo connections that your husband refuses to replace "because it still works” this is the perfect compromise! Our old Blu-ray player went out last year, turns out they only make the HDMI connections for those now, and this converter works brilliantly to allow us to connect the new hdmi Blu-ray to the older TV. Picture quality is decent, not fantastic, but that could in part be due to the older/out dated TV, which is at least 15-18 years old!
