After reading other reviews I had high hopes for this product. This product is a prime example that you get what you pay for. The plastic fasteners that attach the trunk to the car are fragile and poorly made. They don't fit the post snugly and I broke one trying to tighten it. There is a lot of play when attaching it so I was trying to tighten it when it broke. Everyone knows that a loose trunk rattles on the car. Also, the trunk clips don't fit my trunk even though they are advertised as universal. I had to buy different screws to mount them to my rack because the screws that came with the kit were too long and unthreaded. Someone said this product is similar to a Thule kickstand. I really hope Thule roof racks are better than these because this thing is junk.
