I check every part I buy for my car. Do not buy cheap fakes. They have plastic and cheap metal parts that can break and rust. It's all stainless steel and billet aluminum. They also have more articulation and a smaller footprint than all others, making installation much easier. The button mechanism works very well and makes a nice "pop" sound every time. For people saying the recommended 1 1/4" hole is too big: I measured across the thread. They are 1 3/16". This is only 1/16" clearance. So you can go to one 1 1/8 inch hole saw and file it down for a really good fit if that's what you want.
