Liquorice is not black, rather dark blue.
So. I love this color and will use it in the future. However, I think I'll have to repaint it in a different color. I got the impression that the color of the liquorice was black with a slight dark blue tint. I checked the color before buying. However, it reads much bluer than expected and is much more dark blue than black (see photo with black picture frame in the background). The photos don't show how blue it is. Is there no true black in this line? I'm frustrated that I have to buy another product to cover the navy.
