I am convinced that there is no easy way to clean blinds. The only method I've found that works really well is to wipe down each plank on both sides with a slightly damp cloth, but that takes forever and a day. The problem I had with this air purifier was that it generated static electricity. It worked fine for a very short time, but then static caused dust to cling to the blinds. I fought the static by spraying the "dusty fingers" with a gentle stream of water from a water bottle. It did a pretty good job when I sprayed it with water and it's a lot quicker than cleaning both sides of each plank with a cloth. My blinds are wooden and not designed to be wiped with anything wet. This doesn't seem to have affected them negatively, but can cause problems with frequent cleaning with a blind cleaner.
