This turned off the seat belt light exactly how I wanted it so I think it worked exactly as advertised. It wasn't obvious where to install it and no instructions were provided. I asked a question on Amazon and a few people were kind enough to help me. Essentially you unplug the cable coming out of the base of the driver's seat belt and plug it in. On my Viking VI I only had to loosen the plastic cover to install it. Easy enough once you know what to do.
