It is too early to give an estimate of durability but there is no reason to expect failure. I don't do heavy constructions as I do needlework. But the saw works as it should. I don't know what cleanliness really means. I never used the blade that came with the kit because of the cuts I had to make without tearing. This blade comes with almost all professional saws because it is cheap. This is for rough cutting of wood. I would cut some hardwoods and plywood cross strips. I ordered a miter saw blade to make sure it was compatible and I'm happy with the cuts. I believe a lot of the bad reviews about tools are because people don't know how to set up a tool properly. They often want to use it for what it is and expect miracles. In many cases, the tool is only as good as the operator. I find this tool very valuable for me. The new blade added $40 to the cost, but that's to be expected and necessary if I want cuts to be what my projects need. both ends to make my job easier. These things should be made for every miter saw, I don't think it's an exception. I am satisfied with the saw and would buy it again.
