Okay, I've upgraded from 1 star to 3 stars. The reason is that the problem isn't with the hardware, it's getting the software to work for the beginner. It will take hours and hours and even then you have to go to youtube and most of what is there is mediocre at best. But if you stick to it, eventually you will get "some" result. But the effort required is a serious limiter. I would not buy again and would choose a company that has a product that is software-SUPPORTED for both software and hardware. These things should be at a high level so that you can connect, install software and by default provide the user with instant results (e.g. pre-configured for some sources) to give the user positive feedback and encourage further development and experiences to collect, so whoever can explore learns and wants to further develop the area of interest. Not this device. If you want people to buy and keep your product, you'd better document it so they can see/hear positive results right away. An hour later I play in, I hear nothing but hissing/hissing. I give him 2 days to play with him and if he's not lucky he comes back.
