Review on πŸ”§ Flexzilla Levelwind Retractable Air Hose Reel - 3/8 in. x 75 ft - Heavy Duty, Lightweight, Hybrid - ZillaGreen | L8306FZ by Dylan Deng

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great so far

Installed this product in my garage at home. It's unclear from the description on the Revain, but the coil comes with a mount that can be rotated (Β±65 degrees from centerline) or fixed. This is important because the hose must be pulled out of the drum immediately. Some reels have rollers (this one has no rollers) where the hose exits the roller to allow the hose to be pulled out at an angle. With the pivoting mount, this is not a problem as the entire spool pivots to stay in line in any direction the hose is pulled. This makes it easy to extend the hose anywhere in the garage. Note, however, that the coil is quite bulky. So plan for a setup with enough room for the coil to swing from side to side. The guide hose (source-to-reel-side) has a 3/8 NPT male fitting. to connect to your air source. I think the lead hose is about 5 feet long. The end of the main hose also has a male 3/8 NPT fitting. The hose itself corresponds to the word "flex" in the name. It is extremely flexible even at pressures below 90 psi. It's summer now so I can't comment on flexibility in low temperatures. But it's way better than the 1/4" PVC tubing I used before.

Pros
  • Air tool parts and accessories
Cons
  • Slightly torn
