This base is a thousand times better than the "alliance perfect" version. Its texture applies smoothly and does not have a masking effect. Additionally, the redness is nicely concealed, and the finish is matte and built-up. There are a few drawbacks: it absorbs into the pores, it doesn't have the endurance of reinforced concrete (even though it says it does for 24 hours), and after 5 or 6 hours it develops a greasy shine.
