I really had high hopes for this bedspread. It received some excellent reviews. After washing and drying according to the manufacturer's instructions, the bedding may not cover a full sized bed and/or set of sheets. It hangs just a few inches overboard (see photo) and doesn't cover the sheets. This is a very nice comfortable cotton bedspread but they should point out that it does not cover a double bed. I will try to get my money back. However, it comes in regular plastic packaging wrapped in shrink wrap which cannot be returned in 'as new' condition once opened. I always wash linens before use so I'm not sure if they will accept a return after washing. I doubt it will shrink, I dried it on low heat. Make sure it fits your bed well before you wash it.
