I happened to see them in action this weekend while helping a four wheel drive suburban car stuck on a hill to get out of it. I also put them on the back of my 4runner and they worked and did exactly what I expected. It was great to see how the purchase works in front of you. Although I've lost 4 of these, I've ridden them about 30 miles and haven't checked the tension. I would probably re-tighten them every 10-15 miles, I recommend it to everyone. I have tires m / t 295 mm. They just fit well
