Review on Pre-Assembled 6Ft Self-Regulating Pipe Heating Cable - 120V By HEATIT For Efficient Winter Protection by Justin Cage

I live in a 5th wheel temporarily on 20 acres while I decide if I'm going to build a house. My fresh water tank froze and busted. Quick fix was to temporarily use a 55 gal plastic drum outside of 5th wheel. Wrapped the barrel about 4 times and the rest of heat trace on the water line into the undercarriage of 5th wheel to water pump. 20 below and the water didn't freeze. Of course I insulated the barrel. When I first plugged in the heat trace it didn't get warm and I thought it was junk. After putting an ice cube on thermostate it immediately started getting warm and never had a problem since. Must be plugged into a gfci outlet that i think others also said in a few reviews. Working great for me and would definitely recommend.
