Review on 📱 Enhanced Visibility: Speck Products GemShell iPhone XR Case in Transparent/Clear by Ivan Brown

I've been using the bacon for 6 years now and use the grip scales consistently. I recently bought an iPhone XR and chose the Product Red line. I bought a grip case and enjoyed it until I wanted to show off my phone. The color is beautiful, rich and vibrant red and I wanted a case that would show off my brand new phone. So I went for this transparent dotted case. I was unexpectedly very disappointed. First, it clicked, often and everywhere. Like most speckled cases, it has two layers of protection, but other speckled cases, like the grips I use, have two layers that fit together perfectly. It's not history in this clear case. The two tiers are on different tiers and so it's annoying when, for example, you turn on the phone with the side button, take a screenshot, and use the phone horizontally to stream media or play games. This was very disappointing as my previous grip case was quiet. I can squeeze it however I want and it doesn't make any noise or annoying clicks like a clear case. Another issue is that the raised bezel above the camera isn't enough to protect it like a grip case. The XR has a large camera that extends well beyond the entire surface of the phone. Yes, and the volume and power buttons are firmly pressed. It's very frustrating to see how great most of their lineups are and then have a case that really flops. I'm shocked I don't see other annoying click reviews so maybe I got a bad one in the mail but no matter what I'm going back to the silent grip case. (I never thought in a million years that I would judge iPhone cases by how quiet they are?!?) That's why I'm so upset with this case. Otherwise, if you could get rid of the tone, it offers good protection, does not yellow over time, and shows the sexy phone underneath. Unfortunately I can't show my fancy red iPhone, but at least the grip is quiet and not annoying.
