Review on 🔧 Efficiently Repair Stress Crack with Stepsaver Products Self Adhesive Stress Crack Tape (1.25'' x 30' Smooth Roll) Item 7030 by Isaac Shankar

I have tried several times to repair this crack that went down the ceiling in our bedroom. I've tried the traditional scratch and putty repair, this spray on stuff, but the crack just kept coming back. I admit I was skeptical about this tape product but I am pleased and impressed with the immediate results. In the photo after, you can see the tape under the fresh coat of paint, but you won't really notice it unless you look directly at it. However, one always noticed the crack. It was relatively easy. I recommend having a utility knife handy to help peel off the tape backing. I don't know if this was really necessary, but I used a roll of wallpaper to make sure the tape stuck well to the ceiling. I sanded the edges. I'm not the best spatula, so the tape is probably a little noticeable. I have high hopes that it will hold up well.
