I am a cryptocurrency miner. Bought these for me and a friend. My friend plugged them in against my advice to power an RTX 3070. He was using the wrong settings, my 3070s run at around 120-140 watts with a mining load. Well my friend wasn't listening and put 230 watts through these cables! Not only did his house NOT burn down, but everything worked fine under this load for about 1 week until I caught him and adjusted his power settings. Previously, when I corrected the overclock settings, I physically felt the cable. At 230 watts, the cables were lukewarm but not hot and were in good condition under this load. I highly recommend these cables as they have run higher and higher than the safe and recommended specs. These cables will work to power an RTX 3070 and below with the correct reduced voltage, but for maximum safety use 8-pin splitters for RTX 3060 and above unless you really know what you're doing. hot over 230W. ***FIRE SAFETY NOTICE*** These 6 pin cables are rated for a maximum output of 216W only.
