I have triple piercings in both ears, and I've never been able to wear earrings in them for longer than an hour because of how sensitive they are. I've been wearing these for a little over a week now and so far no problems at all! I shower and sleep in them and they've held up great! My only recommendation is to remove them at least once a week and give the earrings/your piercings a nice cleaning. I found that since I essentially had to re-pierce my piercings with these they got a lil gunky. I think it's also important to note that I have a nickel allergy, and while surgical steel contains a lil nickel, I haven't had any problems whatsoever with them. I'll definitely be wearing only surgical steel earrings from now until I die (and my corpse will look FABULOUS because these earrings don't tarnish or anything)!
